Louvred vents / HEXASTEEL LAME TPI
HEXASTEEL LAME TPI (CO2 opening/closing) is a smoke and heat ventilator (NSHEV) with insulated aluminium blades for all types of roof designed for daily ventilation and smoke extraction.
HEXASTEEL LAME TPI features: motorised blades powered by a pneumatic cylinder and gas springs (200mm travel). The aluminium blades pivot on an aluminium outer fixed frame and are surrounded by windshields.

Aluminium blades
- Insulated unwrought aluminium blades. Heat loss coefficient U = 1.27 W/m².K.
C02 thermofuse
- Rated to trip at 93°C (as standard and factory-assembled, delivered with CO2 cartridge).
Electrical switches
- They can be connected to an indicating panel showing the installation's opening position and functional status.
Painted upstand
- The inside of the upstand can be painted. RAL tint to be specified in the order.
Pneumatic opening
- Opening is controlled by a pneumatic cylinder.
SL 250 snow load
- Regulatory snow load for smoke extraction in buildings located between 0 and 400m in altitude. SL 250 = 25 daN/m².
SL 500 snow load
- Regulatory snow load for smoke extraction in buildings located between 400 and 800m in altitude. SL 500 = 50 daN/m².
Upstand for PVC membrane
- Upstand with factory-assembled unbacked insulation board compatible with a PVC membrane. Option to attach a strip of galvanised or PVC-coated steel at the top of the skylight frame.
