To improve the image of the psychiatric institution, the building was renovated by treating the patio as an artistic tableau with the creative use of materials.

To reduce costs, decorative products were used creatively, such as resin flooring for the car park (durable, cheap and available in several colours), and round polymethacrylate (PMMA) skylights for industrial premises (Hexafix by Hexadome).
